if it's a true "1LT" it has absolutely no options, correct? if so, that might be an ok price. do a check of the vin with any gm service dept. or on here to see what warranty/TSB work was done on the car. and in case you still have some time left on the 5y/100K powertrain, ask for a check on the ecm to see if the car's been modified.

Sounds like an ok price to me. Before you commit, look up similar vettes on cars.com and see how they compare. the GM Certified part is worth extra, too. I'm so glad I got that with mine.

I just 3 weeks ago bought a 1LT 08 STICK,glass top and 8054 miles for 34,000.This car is immaculate and it has headers and some other stuff on it too for a bonus! So I guess 31 is in the ballpark.

The dealer where I have my car serviced recently had a 2008 loaded 3LT convert with similar miles and was GM certified and they were asking $32k for that one. A convert brings at least $3k more than a coupe plus the 3LT adds $2-3k more also.

FWIW, I bought an 08 1LT that was mint in Aug 2010 with 29k miles for $31k... They were originally asking $33k... So I would consider their asking price OK if the car is in great shape.
I would work with them on the price and if you truely love the car dont go crazy over a grand or 2... Youll regret it if you end up seeing the car sold and you get another one that may not live up to it!
A 1LT isnt for everyone, but I love mine... To me the 1LT is the C6 FRC (F'in Race Car) bare bones bad azz vette!

Traded a 1998 malibu with 80,000 in on a 2008 coupe, both tops, HUD, Nav, Memory and heated seats, auto, 22,000 miles and got it for 31,000in Kansas. I would keep looking or lowball big time and not give in.

not a bad deal and if you want HUD you can always add it and even get it in a custom color.

Yes, it really has no options, no nav, no HUD, no z51. I will definitely check what warranty work has been done. i'll check with them on the ecm also. thanks for the advice. i appears to have been previously leased and has good service records per the carfax. called the dealer and no serious warranty work had been preformed on it.

I just bought my 08 4lt with 41,000 certified at a dealer for 35,000$. Not sure if that was a good deal or not but it was jetstream blue like I wanted and couldn't find any other ones with options in it. People wanted 08 1lt's for like 33,000 with similar miles. I found it on autotrader.com. Hope this helps and goodluck!

Certified is a good thing to give you a year warranty after the factory one goes away. Dealer can buy that warranty cheaper than you can. I was looking at a used Certified Corvette couple years ago and wanted to get the price down and the dealer offered to drop the warranty. Not suggesting that as some warranty on an 08 is probably a good thing. Don't rush the sale, offer the dealer several K less and let the dealer think on it. Car should be near perfect with records at that price. Check Black Book prices. If they don't take your offer keep looking. At that price you might find a private party, lower miles car. Check Cars.com. Good Luck.
