Garage Queen

I consider my 08 with 24,000 miles a garage queen. Maybe a tad to many miles but it is always garages/covered and clean. Never has seen rain or been dirty for more than a day. Haven't even had to wash it in about 18 months, just duster/detail spray.

I guess my '90 B2K Callaway would be considered a garage queen... 100% original including tires and 3,300 miles on the clock. Thankfully I have others to drive. Can't imagine having a C6 as a garage queen though.

Dude's (or Dudette's) money. Whatever turns his or her's crank. Better green and growing than ripe and rotting.

C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
In 1958 I was on vacation in Houghton Lake, MI. A local car collector told me to go visit this lady and ask to see her cars. She had a 1929 Model A that looked perfect and had about 10000 miles on it. She only drove it to church and to get groceries.
But the shocker was yet to come.
In her garage was a 1930 Reo still in the shipping crate. Her husband had died after the purchase, but before the delivery. When the car was shipped in by rail flat car, she hired a trucking company to put it in the garage until she decided what to do with it. The interior was ruined by mice and squirels and it had some rust in places. The exterior had a fair coat of dust. She used to reach between the wooden slats and wipe it off for the first several years, but decided it was too much work.
Neither car was for sale at any price. Her reason was, that the cars attracted curious people and she would always have someone to talk to. We chatted for quite a while, until someone else showed up to see them. It was absolutely amazing.

I'm not a big 'wash & wax' guy but some might consider my car a garage queen....an '05 with a little over 28,000 on the odometer (4,600+ miles annually). I used to drive it almost daily but now I only use it a couple weekends a month.....racing on road courses!
I don't equate joy of ownership with mileage or how often you use your car. For me it's what you do with the car that matters. If you're getting everything out of your car that you want it's all good.
Then why continue flailing?

I am the exact opposite; 2005 LMB with 120,000 miles so far and expect another 120,000 before I trade her in.

I have no idea what mine would be considered, I think its both:
2009 Z06. Bought New: July, 21 2008
July '08 - July '09 : 15,000 miles
July '09 - July '10 : 8,000 miles
July '10 - July '11 : 1,500 miles
July '11 - 'today : 600 miles

Bottom line is, if I want a model, pristine Corvette, Testor has a nice 1/18 scale I can look at all day.
Mine? I drive it.....and enjoy it. Every day. Rain or shine.
