New Convertible Owners the power of the lint brush with Pics
I have noticed a number of new Convertible owners (or those considering a Convertible) here on CF and thought I would share with you a trick that we Convertible Veterans know...and that is the power of the lint brush.
A lint brush is a Must Have for any convertible owner and great to have on hand for Hardtops too. They are good to have in your detailers bag and great to remove light dirt, grass, etc from your carpet when a vacuum is not handy like when traveling or going to a show/cruise-in.
Below are some pics showing you a few before and after shots of using a lint brush on the top to remove lint and light debris from the fabric of your top. Since the top is very tightly woven sometimes it can be a challenge to remove lint that has accumulated on it....same could be said about some carpets/floor mats too.
....anyway, You can see the difference between the half I hit with the lint brush. Took all of 10 mins to do my top.
Here is the finished top

Wow, how do you get that much lint on it to begin with??
I use a well-washed microfiber towel to dab it off and then let it air dry. Then I use a lint roller for the lint and then a soft brush to "finish" it off.

it took a lot of work! I just came off a 1500 mile road trip with it and while traveling I used a hotel towel to wipe the water off the top when I washed it.
