i think it would be a nice option for chevrolet to have an option for the new c6 to have factory sipe pipes with the headers once again in the vette i think it would look good on the corvette .. what does everyone think about this idea do you think a corvette should once again have sidepipes as an option?

It would definitely be a cool option, but it's probably unlikely. They have enough trouble finding room for all the catalysts etc. required in the exhaust. Maybe if they abandoned the idea of having pipes running down the side of the car and just had the exits in front of the rear wheels it could work.

I know that the C4 and C5s a world challenge team I worked with had set up that way were very cool. They ran the pipes down the middle and then 90 degree bends to exit through the body in front of the rear wheels. Of course the muffled C5's with headers were still over 105 db on the track like that. Of course, having the exhaust come out the side inflates drive-by noise measurements. I plan to use that type design whenever I stop driving my car everyday. Long tubes and bullet mufflers only. :D

yeah it is very unlikely that they would but they could try i think it would look nice on the vette havent seen a c5 with them yet but i think it would work especially if they had a bigblock in there and let people knoe what was in there aint no little ricer!!!!lol or made it for like the zo6 which will most liely have another name since chevy doesnt like carrying names from a model to another in a short time (GIVE ME A ZL-1 AND ILL FINA A WAT TO GET IT)

I'd like it if the C6 is going to be retro styled Vette. Otherwise I just don't think it would go with the car good.
