I'm sure some of you guys will flame me and it's ok. Most of us salivated and worked our butts off to be able to afford a Corvette. Why would we think it would be cool to brag about low mileage ? I purchased this car to drive it, not keep the miles down for resale.
In my opinion, if you are spending more time detailing the Corvette than you are driving it you need to reconsider why you bothered to buy the car. I'm trading in a 2008 BMW M5 with 507HP and 86000 miles for this car. I enjoyed every mile in the BMW and believe I wil enjoy every mile with the Corvette. Drive it like you stole it. It's not a trophy, it's a car.

Your welcome. I find it amusing how others think you should drive your car or what should make you happy with your car you bought. Cars are like women. Some guys like big butts, and some like small tight ones. Some guys like a woman that has been around the block a few times, and some like a virgin. Some like them dirty, and some like them clean.

Hey, if looking at your car and detailing it makes you happy then, go for it. If you like low miles and enjoy it the way you do, then go for that also.

I like a car that is clean (very) and well maintained. For me I'm happier with the car in the garage when its raining, then I would be driving it. Do I give a rats butt what some stranger on the forum thinks?

I have 90,000+ on my 07 Each corvette comes with only so much fun built in to it. I intend to get every bit of fun out of it . For the $3,000 or so difference between a good condition high milage car and a good condition low milage car, I will take the $ hit and the fun !!! JMHO of course

Maybe he will keep the car. Maybe he will give it to one of his children. Maybe he will find a buyer that will give him more because it was so well maintained (I would). Or maybe he just does not give a sh*t.

I love driving and driving my Vette even more. I was wrong when I said my 08 Coupe was the perfect car for me though. I found that out as soon as I drove my 11 GS Vert with the top down all day in Colorado.

But if you choose to not drive your car then that is your decision. Who cares really since you are the one (most likely) paying for it? Your warranty will still expire at the same time as most 08 C6 owners. At least you proved a set of goodyears can last more than 3 years. Mine sure don't. But I'm also looking at a min of 300 miles to see another town that has 100k people, or 500 miles for one that is closer to a few 100k.

if you buy something and do not use it what is the sence of having it?you are proud that you are saving it for the next guy,and people always sell their cars sooner or later.i have a suggestion, take 60 thousand dollars, plie it up in cash in your garage and every year burn 5 thousand of it.that is what your proud of?LOL.

No, can't decide between bridgestone and michelin, but leaning toward michelin . I got 22,000 out of the bridgestones . I guess the shifter thing is good . They adjusted something and test drove it and said they all should shift as good .

Exactly.

Great job you're doing for the next owner. Too bad you didnt enjoy it more considering you paid twice the price, for the exact same car that he will.

Your bold type to emphasize things make you look like a childish individual. There's always going to be a nicer Vette out there. I have a 2011 Vette and I just broke 25k. I get to enjoy my car 90 minutes of driving time 5 days a week.

The reason why people are posting that he should drive his car more is because he felt the need to come to a forum and ask. And he's proud of a car? I'd be proud of my car if I built it, but since I didn't I am not sure what there is to be proud of.

No flaming here, but I enjoy mine a lot more when I'm driving it than when it's sitting in the garage.
The original post is stupid. It's like, "I have a supermodel wife but I'm only intimate with her once a year".

I'm proud I was able to attain one. Not sure why he's proud. Maybe he will chime in, and let you know.
