Default New Partition!

Just received and installed this great ABS partition from Exotic Vettes. Its easy in and custom fit. Roof fits without removeal and cargo shade meets it perfect. Also added bonus the rear speakers are more efficient. This one is ebony and is almost a perfect match to my interior.
cheers!

I did add velcro loop to help secure.

I have the same one. I cut off the floppy shower curtain fabric, as it is no longer needed for privacy. Looks much better without.

I have the same one in my 2005 coupe. It's one of the best mods I've done, one of those things that every coupe owner should do.

I have one that I will be posting for sale soon. Not that I didn't like it, it was great, but I put in VetteBin bins which has its own integrated partition.

How much do you want for it? Is it from exotic partition, like the ones shown in the pictures?

Yes, it is. I don't want to hijack this thread so I will PM you in the next day or so as I have not given it much thought.

How much better do the rear speakers sound? Is it very noticeable? Can anyone else chime in?

Anyone wanting a rear partition should check out the one by built by Marc at www.vettenuts.net and click on VetteBins And Partitions on the left hand side; lots of pictures. You can get the partition only or the VetteBin Combo that includes the storage bins and the partition. Its a better fit, no velcro needed, your top can be stowed with the partition in place and it will match the interior. He will custom build the bins any way you want: mine has magnetic push to open latches with gas struts on the doors, led lites that come on when the hatches are opend and an auxiliary power point for charging my phone or hooking up my CTEK. He also added a ledger in front of the bin so that packages or other items stored back there do not slide off into the cabin when the brakes are applied. Really a nice piece.

The rear speakers are more noticable and have more depth or base. Your not losing the sound to entire cargo area.

Had one for about 6+ years now and still looks and works great...

In fact when I made the post here in 2005, verified that the partition passed the hard and soft 6 pac case on the ledge in front of the partition

You will love it!

That is the what I now have and the storage is a great feature and the roof clears the partition as well.

I put one in my '07 this week too. It's a nice addition. I should have done it sooner!

I've had mine five or six years along with their insulation kit. Crazy Cowboy is the best.

I'm really surprised the factory never picked up on this.
