2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
I hope these look identical to the GM front splash guards that are available for the base C6.

From the look of Josh’s prototype pics, I think he has the proportion right.

Like I needed another reason to spend money. Great....
Would like to see the final design with the tapered top portion. If it looks like I expect, I'm in. I'm glad there is a side skirt-compatible option (unlike Asis, last time I checked).

That's my concern too, and nobody except you mentioned it. I already have clear bra, and prefer to leave them alone if they look tacked on.
That's a deal-breaker for me too. And forget about the plastic being cheap; we're talking about the entire inner fender. Don't understand why GM didn't flare the front inner fenders like the rear too . The inner front fender looks very nice, and can't imagine any splash guard looking remotely close to OEM from the front. Finally, as long as one of the bottom screws is used, the top portion could be safely attached with industrial double-sided tape, no? I don't want to drill any holes at all.

Good news! We have 9 sets that will be ready to ship out tomorrow. I'm contacting the first 9 guys on the list today. You will get an email from me.
One thing to note - guys with ZR1 side skirts, we aren't done with those models yet. They will be 1 week behind. But if you don't have side skirts, they will be shipping out tomorrow.
Thanks!

Now that Josh has responded, I have some installed pics of what Josh’s finished product will look like. Please keep in mind that these SGs installed on my Z06 are the beta version non-side skirt model that I modded to work with my ZR1 rocker skirts. I won’t bother to post pics of the whole installation process at this time because I went through a lot of work to adapt these to my car that the guys without side skirts won’t have to do. Suffice to say, the normal installation of these SGs is pretty straight forward and if anyone has specific questions regarding the typical install, I’d be glad to post any info I can (I don't have written instructions though).
DISCLAIMER: I have no business affiliation with Josh (RPI Designs), other than being a satisfied customer.
That being said, personally, I think Josh nailed the design perfectly with these wide body SGs. They look so OEM my wife didn’t even know they weren’t on the car from GM. She came out to the garage and wondered WTH I’d been doing out there all afternoon. I pointed to the new SGs and she said “what are you showing me”. I had to convince her that the SGs were not always on my Z…she thought I was just out there drinkin' beer all day (well, that too).
From the front, they look just like the OEM fender liner… only, extended out 1.5” from the fender.

Yes, there are 2 screws that fasten the SG to the factory plastic fender liner. You have to drill a pilot hole in the liner to accept these screws. The bottom mount reuses the factory screw that is under the rocker.
If you’re worried about drilling the factory liner, you can buy new ones from GM for about $40ea. (right & left) if you every want to return to stock. The factory liners are just easily removable plastic pcs….THEY ARE NOT THE ENTIRE INNER FIBERGLASS WHEEL WELL.

Thanks for all your help on this. I really want a set for the new GS arriving next week. When I saw drilling I almost stopped reading but who cares about holes in the actual liner. Like you said its plastic and if needed for any reason they can be replaced cheaply.

Plus, they’re so easy to remove if you want to take ‘em off for any reason.
