I have a few trips planned in my car this summer.
Hot summer nights, in Souix Falls SD again in july. This kicks off the Black Hills Classic, which I am unable to attend.
I plan on heading out to Road America, in Elkhart Lake again, for the Lemans race. August 16-19.
3 motorcycle trips are keeping me from anymore long trips this summer, but should be able to do a few extended weekend trips.
Maybe a drive around Lake Superior.
How about you?

I have a wedding in Florida and a reunion/golf tournament in Wisconsin for potential drives. The Florida one I quickly ruled out based on the time to get there/back and a what looks to be a kinda boring drive. Am considering the Wisconsin trip though as I could get there in less than three days and come back via Route 66 which has been kinda a bucket list item. However with gas prices on the rise it's at least 2 1/2 times the cost of flying/car rental.

Wish I could have made it last fall. But That was a traditional pheasant opener, with friends coming in from out of town.
I'll try to keep some dates open this year.

We are going to try and make the Blach Hills Classic. We ran out of time last year on our 6 week, 10,000 mile trip out west. This year we will start out with the Classic and from there back out to Yellowstone and who knows after that.

Massachusetts to San Diego. Rather drive than ship. I've never done a 'true' XC trip. The longest was ID to ME in a Miata Spec Racer that droned like a banshee at 85+.

Picking up my new Coupe in Redwood City (currently being built in BG) and driving all the way down Highway 1 from Half Moon Bay to So Kali. This is going to be a photo paradise

I am planning a trip to florida to visit my father and on the way down I'm gonna take a couple of scenic detours one being dells gap in tennessee, 318 curves in 11 miles I took that ride on my sport bike quite a few years back and it was alot of fun so I'm looking forward to puttin the Z to the test. Could be quite an expensive trip though with premium already at $4.50 around here

Leave for Phoenix Sunday morning for a week in the desert. A little nervous, Albuquerque is calling for snow showers Monday morning. But I am excited for the trip and break from work.
