Default Motor Oil

What is the best motor oil to use in a 2011 vette. This is the first oil change that will be done. Trying to determine what everyone recommends.
Thanks in advance...

Many here recommend the oil that came in your car from the factory - Mobil 1 SAE 5W-30.

There are about a thousand of these threads. There are those that support Royal Purple, those that like Amsoil. There isn't a good reason to switch from Mobile One, but any oil that meets GM Spec GM4718M will be fine.
Your vehicle’s engine requires a special oil meeting
GM Standard GM4718M. Oils meeting this
standard may be identified as synthetic. However,
not all synthetic oils will meet this GM standard.

If your car is a street driven vette only, then original fill Mobil 1, 5/30 is what you should use.

I think I have been here too long, this seems like deja vu all over again.
