Each to their own but when do you run them? Do they work automatically? I'm not sure why you would run lights when the car is off and locked. What about battery drain? Is your cars name "Kit"? LMAO

Sorry but I don't get the point. Why would you want to draw that kind of attention to your car when it's parked?

Personally I like lights but on this forum a billet grill and those lights you're going to need a little protection.

I appreciate the comments, good and bad. The car is a 100% toy. I drive it maybe 3000 miles a year. Never drive to work in it, rain etc... Usually to corvette club events and car shows ( have one sat. actually). And yes, I can turn it on or off and controll color and effect with a small remote. You could drive with them on, but I am sure Metro Police here in Vegas might not like that. Plus my 3 year old son likes them . (the car will be his someday).

Couldn't resist...just ordered one for my C6. Just have to figure out how I want to mount it now, do you have any close up pics on how yours is mounted in/on the grill? Would like it to not be seen until it's turned on.

They are from Oracle lighting. The vendor I used was c6performance.com but there are others. Hook up is easy, just two wires. I have a billet grille so I spent a little time with a grinder on back side to fit the two strips into the grille. Not noticible when off but lights are very clear when on. If someone wants to do this with a similar grille I would be happy to share my install. The part is the LED scanner RGB ( rgb means changes colors, there r some that are only one color). Less than $100 shipped.

Reminds me of KITT on the Knight Rider show.
