Damn I hate people that own GS's
Different days, maybe different drivers, but the same track. Car and Driver runs the Lightning Lap on the full VIR course and the GS was about 3 seconds faster with the Z51 just over 3 minutes and the GS just under 3 minutes.

I have a base coupe with Z51, i guess that must make me less of a man huh? LOL Im very happy with my car. My friend just bought a 2010 GS with 1500 miles, basically new, and i like it as well, but i wouldnt say his is better then mine or vise versa, who cares really? there both very fast cars, that most owners will NEVER see the full potential of what either car can do. At the end of the day......your GS, or the next guys Z06, or the neighbors ZR1.......are all......you guessed it....still a corvette. Just like my lowly base version! geeze oh pete!
And alot of people look at the Corvette and they ALL look the same to them like they ALL came out of a Cracker Jack box, because all the toys look the same.

I have to admit before I got mine they all looked the same to me. I really could not tell a ZR1 from a base vette. I did not know that 2005 - 2012 vettes all looked the same.

Most people can't tell any model year Porsche from the other. Same with Mercedes SL's or even The F cars. It's just if you are not into them most can't tell one fromt the other. I had a guy ask me what it was like driving a car with almost 700HP
