Default Will the GS vert survive in 2013?

With the advent of the 427 convertible announced for 2013, the amount of GS convertibles will undeniably go down. So I think G.M. should just discontinue GS convertibles and just sell GS coupes.
What's your thoughts?

And they should drop all but the two top selling colors.

I take that back, they should drop all but the two worse selling collors. No way should someone be able to purchase the two "top dog" colors. That just means they are insecure and closed minded.

Wait till you see the price. There's bound to be a nice premium.

Three-quarters of G/S convertible owners can't/prefer not to drive a manual transmission. The 427 convertible is only available with a manual transmission. No big threat to G/S convertibles.

As long as there are white-haired retirees with money (like me), there will always be a demand for Corvette verts.....

(Wait, did I say white trash with money?)

Why? Why do people just having this seemingly burning hatred for the GS? Live with it! The GS is the most profitable model of the corvette line. The obvious answer to any question regarding the discontinuation of the Grand Sport is without question, "Why the hell would they do something so stupid? That car has made GM ridiculous amounts of money, and they would be nothing short of retards to discontinue it the year before the C6 is going out of production anyway!"

Okay, I'm done now.
