Chevy Corvette C7 prototype spy shots Photos

I believe that's the one. Thank god, the tailights are not like the ones in the jalopnik drawing. Those exhaust pipes look big, I hope is louder than the C6. The other test mule prototipe had same size tires front and rear, this one doesn't. Interesting, it still looks a lot like a C6 but I guess if you camo and cover a C5 it will still look like a C6, right?

I think it's cool that Charles posted it here, there are a lot of dreamers there in the C7 forum, some guy the other day was arguing that he wanted a Corvette with 4 doors some other guy keeps talking about Mustangs and "muscle cars" like GM cares about that when they think about designing a new Nurburgring monster. So if it's realiable info it should be posted everywhere. There are the ones who say they don't have a C6 because they r still waiting for the rear split window blah, blah...whatever C7 dreamers!!

Could be padding, but both the front and rear overhang looks to be longer then the C6. Also it appears the taillight lens are clear with red LED's behind them. The rear shot looks like the width over the rear quarter panels is wider then the C6 but with slightly wider fenders, not just larger flares like the Z06/GS/ZR1. The front tires look to be about the same width at the current base C6(245 or 255) but the rear tires look to be slightly wider, but not quire as wide as the Z06/GS, maybe 305's.
I've seen camo'd GM cars from a few feet away, and they will add padding etc. to disguise the body lines. Once saw a Chevy dually with the bed camo'd but not the cab.
GM had a testing facility in Manitou Springs, CO and I would see various cars in their open lot being tested(I'm guessing brake testing on Pikes Peak, but never saw one on Pikes Peak). The had a small storage shed and an exposed scale. I always assumed they were doing brake tests as I would see them when there was no snow around. I would see cars that had interior parts of different colors(assumed they were also testing durability of different colors/materials, etc). Tons of electronic testing equipment in the cars as well as old fashion sand bags. The last time I was in Manitou Springs, there was nothing but an empty lot. The scales, shed, etc were gone. They're probably doing their testing in China on one of their mountains.

I'm glad to see that they got rid of the "bubble" rear hatchback. That design was out of date years ago. I had hoped that they would abandon the rice 4 rear exhaust pipes and go back to a true 2 pipe rear exhaust.
