Just about the same here. Picked up my '06 in early December of 2005 and it still has the original Delco battery. It is on a battery tender whenever it's parked for more than a couple of weeks although it's gone longer on occasion. My other vehicle went 7 years on its original battery which it still had when I traded it in.

5 years and still going but I replaced it with a Optima Yellow Top as I didn't want to take any chances because to change it, I have to remove the intercooler reservoir and that's something I didn't want to deal with on the road. I still have the original, but not in the Vette.

2008 Z06 original battery still going strong since September 2007 . A battery tender is a must especially if your car sits

Car batteries don't ever have 14+ volts...thats what your alternator is putting out. A fully charged car battery will show 12.6-12.8 at rest.

Why such low life on the Batteries? I still have an original 2003 in my pick up truck. 10 degrees out right now. Gonna take the Vette to get Bagels in a minute & spin the ice cold tires a bit.

A little over 4.5 years. I've never used a battery tender and my car has sat idle for extended periods on several occasions. I never had any starting or electrical problems. The OEM Corvette battery had a comparable service life to batteries in other vehicles of mine.
