Did mine ,took a little longer than I thought, just being careful I guess about 2 hours. The only question I have is about the string and the knot. I didn't seem to have as much string or slack when I reinstalled the seat cover.
Is this normal since there is more foam now? By the way I have an 06 with less then 10,000 miles and the foam was breaking down already. Nice kit thanks!!

That sounds about right. As long as you had enough slack to tie it down where it's secure you're good to go

About 1000 miles ago I had the driver seat replaced under warranty because it was starting to fall apart at 20K. Well the new seat was nice for about a month and then the cushion started wearing out again. I purchased a seat rebuild kit for like 40 dollars from a site vendor and tackled the job Saturday. It was pretty easy and strait forward to do the repair and the foam on my new seat was already cut from the factory seat springs!!! I installed the new foam blocks and the padding with some spray adhesive, and then put the cover back on. Today was the first day to drive my car and I love the feel of the seat now.

Our rebuild kit vs replacement foam kits
From our own research we've found the issue of the seat frame cutting to be caused by the area of the side bolsters in the lower seat area. Other kits do nothing to solve this issue. You can expect the same issue if you just purchase the seat foam kits.
We've also found in most C6s the seat foam is fine. They just need better support under the frame which our kit provides.
Stop riding around with no support! Order your kit today

Great product. Did mine a few weeks back when upgrading the backs with "flagged" headrest panels. A few hundred miles later and I am completely satisfied with this improvement. Luckily my seats cushions were not showing any issues yet.
