Default Can you help me?

I am thinking of trading my '11 base coupe for an '11 GS but the salesman is of no help. Please simply tell me the major differences between the base C6 and the Gs.

Basic differences from Coupe to GS:
GS has the bigger Z06 brakes, Z06 suspension, Z06 tires/wheel size, Z06 wide body style, and on manual trans you get a dry sump motor with battery in trunk.

Yup, what he said! Z06 looks without the price or the power. Oh, and you get those neat side gills. Some like em, some dont.

Hand made engine (Manual tranny cars). The heritage stripes package and what he said! The overall look of the car is what does it for me over a base c6,but I wouldn't complain about a base one either!!

What they all said plus the bad tire wear. I have 2000 miles on mine and am told if I get 15,000 mi out of the tires I have done good. That is the ony thing I am not pleased with. Love mine and would buy it again.

It's neither here nor there but flipping cars frequently or trading a new C6 for another new C6 is just alien to my thought process. You're already thinking of trading a new 2011 C6 for a 2011 C6 GS but you're not certain what the differences are. Accordingly, I assume your desire is based solely on appearances. I'm not big on trying to make a car look like something it isn't but if it's 'the look' you're after you might consider doing a body conversion to make your new C6 look like a GS. Just a thought. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Wouldn't you lose too much in a trade at dealer because the car is so new? unless of course if you paid cash or owed very little I guess.

$5,000 to $7,000 difference new depending on options.

Used '11 C6 to New '11 GS? above + 1 years depreciation? $11,000? depends on what price you paid for the Base and how much discount for the New GS.

If you go for the '12, I think the seats have been much improved. The steering wheel has been changed to include palm swells, makes it a bit more comfortable for longer drives but no improvement for the track (hpde) environment. The 3lt version comes with the Nav package and better sounding stereo.
