We went to the San Diego Auto Show today and my wife fell in love with the Carlisle Blue ZR1 that was on display and she now wants a Carlisle Blue Corvette! The one good thing is that she said she would be happy with the base coupe as long as it is that color.

I do have to admit that I didn't care for the color when I first saw it but I did keep going back to look at it. There is something interesting about that color...

That color ONLY looks good on the ZR1. That's the one you should buy.

If my wife insisted on a pink ZR1 than I would consider....

CB is not that bad - but if she saw one in SSB she may like it even more - well I would...

Taking your wife to an auto show is like taking her to a high-end jewelry store....it's a big mistake!

If you can swing it buy her the Carlisle Blue C6. Then buy yourself a new ZR1 or Z06 in a color you prefer. Everyone's happy....especially the dealership salesperson.

Uh oh! You're in trouble now. Ask my hubby. Once he said yes get that car it led to all of those mods, then the 2nd car, then more mods, then the lift. And he already knows the C7s are in the future. It's racing thru my blood now - he's pretty much fighting a losing battle.

I had the same problem at Bloomington Gold last summer.
The wife saw a Supersonic Blue GS.
It's now in my garage.
