Congratulations, nice upgrade for sure and a super find. Can not believe the low mileage, their loss and your gain. Enjoy.

You got the best color of all time. GM was foolish for dropping it.
That's stoopid low mileage. Nice find!
Now send the calipers to Mike the Powder Coater and let him PC them in A/O.

I bought an extended warranty yesterday. The car was put in service in June of 07 and therefore the 5year 100K warranty runs out in June of 12. The one real concern I had about this car was that the bumper to bumper 36month warranty was gone and this car does not have enough miles on it to really know what little nit pik things are going to go wrong with it. So yessir, I bought myself a little piece of mind yesterday.
In the past as my warranty expired I'd trade 'em in; however, this Z06 is different than all the others by a country mile. Love the torque curve, the 7,000 redline, color (like yours, discontinued) & most of all the all-around world class touring car feel.
This one I want to keep & want to be covered, there ain't nothin' 'cheap' to fix with these cars.
With regard to price, I studied and studied the forum and various other places Edmunds, Ebay, KBB all the regular stuff. According to the boys on the forum here that car ought to sell between $42 and $47K and not a penny more...Of course, I could not find a single car anywhere that was comparable, nor did any of the pundits on the forum... who are sure they could get it for closer to $36K if it was them negotiating... provide me with any info on a comparable car that they had purchasd recently.
Tangled with the Internet's wizard/experts, huh.
Notice that ilk's quick to dole out advice on how to spend your money? They also never offer to pay the note. Strange, that.
You really had to do your work, sure didn't dumb-luck into this gem. (Bet it's the 'work' part the critics/experts are adverse to? )
Now if you're in the southland you can drive throughout the Winter months. Where I am we've been very fortunate, so far. Apparently, there's an upside to GloBull Warming?

Appreciate your comments Landru. I really love the car. I have owned a lot of cars since I bought my first 1953 Chevy pickup for $65.00 in 1967 and this is far and away the best I have ever had. (my 53 came with 1/2 tank of gas by the way, I always think of that when I fill up my Avalanche and pay more than I did for the first truck with a 1/2 tank of gas in it.)
