With our prewire its a simple as plug and play if you have no SW controls
Here is what your looking at
Remove center console lid(4 screws)
remove tombstone on bezel or inside console there is two screws to remove
pull up bparking brake handle
behind boot there is 2 more screws
remove these
bezel will then lift up with only thing remaining is a couple clips it snaps into and a few connectors to deal with pending what you have for options ie hazzard, heated seats ect
bezel is off
remove the screws holding radio
unplug factory harness from factory radio
our prewired harness will need one wire connected if you have no SW controls
the extended wire from the orange white on radio harness
will connect to the gray with black strip on active handling button
route BT mic to desired location
route GPS antenna ( we normally put under center channel speaker cover)
plug in the new harness to the stock harness
check for power
reinstall radio
and back track the original steps above.
If you have SW controls
you will need to connect the SW control module to the car harness. Pending what year of car( metra or pac harness)and model of SW controls we go with there is a couple connecitons needed
Other than this thats all there really is to it.
I have instructions for bezel removal on my laptop at home. I didnt realize I didnt have them here
I am always a phone call or email away for help as well.
