I purchased the car slightly used and the banner came with the car. I was never a fan of it but I seem to be in the minority. I seem to get more compliments on the banner than I do the car. Thats the reason I haven't ripped it off yet. I am leaning towards doing away with it as I am not a big fan of window banners. 
I like it! I say keep it. Yes, most people know it's a corvette, but do they know it's a grand sport? If I were at a corvette car show and saw your banner, it would be the one I would most likely look at first because it was different and would stand out

Some I like and some I don't....yours looks great, IMO. As long as its kept in excellent condition I'd keep it on....but as soon as it starts to fade, discolor, deteriorate, bubble and/or peel It needs to go!

Our club uses window banners with our club name on them- nice at events with other clubs. Because they are window clings, however, no so good in the pouring rain at 60 mph.
So, they go on, and then they go off, as needed. I really don't mind, one way or the other.

Daily driver???
Do you go to shows, club runs...then potentially cool-sets the car apart.
One thing for sure--your dealer had it done-THOSE are not for sale-pull it and you ain't getting another one.
I wonder how many folks voting uncool have chrome "corvette" rear license plate frames on their cars?
I'd like to see a total pic of the car.
AND 99.9% of the public has NO clue as to what a Grand Sport is in relation to a Z06, ZR1 or standard Coupe...nice conversation piece!

I put a CORVETTE banner on my base 06...it blended in with the windshield which is what I wanted. I took it off because it tore but I may get it put on again...here it is
