Default DashTronix releases a new feature for the V1 Radar Projector: Speed controlled mute!

DashTronix releases a new feature for the Valentine 1 Radar Projector: Speed controlled mute!

Our new Auto Mute feature keeps your Valentine 1 muted when you are below a speed of your choice. The signal status updates are still delivered to your DIC and/or HUD.

If your detector receives a signal and you're driving faster than your selected speed, the V1's audio output is normal. When your speed slows to below your selected speed, the Radar Projector keeps your V1 muted! The Radar Projector indicates muting status in the DIC/HUD, whichever output(s) is currently active.

The mute threshold is set with a simple DIC-based menu system when your car is in Accessory mode.

No more squawk box when you're driving around in shopping malls or at the grocery store. Listen instead to the growl of your V8 when radar isn't a threat!

To buy a Radar Projector click on the link below:

Buy a Radar Projector

*The V1 does not mute new bogie alerts. Unmuting occurs only after a short period following when all signals clear. The V1's muting volume can be independently controlled.

For more information about all the features of the DashTronix Radar Projector click the link below:

When the RP is muting the V1 the word MUTE appears in the HUD

When the RP is muting the V1 the letter M appears in the DIC as the first bar of the signal strength

This is the screenshot of the mute speed setting during setup.

The DashTronix Radar Projector is 100% designed and built in the USA.

You need to have a DashTronix Radar Projector in order to use this feature.

If you dont own one yet you can buy a Radar Projector, if you own a DashTronix Radar Projector already, we can upgrade your unit and then you can have this new feature we have announced.

The DashTronix Radar projector is an interface device that plugs into your OBD-II port under the dash and then you plug your V1 in the Radar projector.

The Radar Projector then displays the output of your V1 in the DIC and/or HUD.

Check out www.dashtronix.com we have videos and lots of info on the Radar Projector there.
