Does the pattern actually stop and then start again going in the complete different direction, right in the middle of the wheel or is this some sort of optical illusion? (right upper part of pic)

Are you referring to the 3 o'clock position? If so - yes, the carbon fiber is in a sheet and being the wheel is round, there has to be a seam at some point.

You're right. It does jump at you in that pic, but you don't even notice it in person. I think the flash emphasizes it.

Hmm, I love your car, but I would think that seem would be best joined right at the spoke where it would be hidden by the 90 degree change of direction and it would only have maybe one inch of flat open rim where you would notice it.

Thx

They are three piece wheels. Might be able to rotate the center to get it correct. I'll ask the folks at 360

I'm curious about the "forged carbon" part. Surely the carbon fiber is not forged?

I would not worry about any seam. Wheels are sick, car rocks.

Guys the laying of the actual Carbon is not an easy task. In fact each section of the wheel takes about a week to complete. Most of our customers have done a single section in Carbon either the Center or Lips, however Woo went with a complete Carbon finish setup. Its 1 of 1 completed ever for this wheel and is truly amazing. Despite some of the issues as pointed by Racer appearing to go in different directions the details and quality and appearance is flawless. We do recognize what you have said however with the difficulty of this finish there are not many companies that can match this in appearance or quality.

It is truly a work of art and the first of its kind with Carbon Inners, Carbon Centers, and Carbon Lips with custom center caps. We have had many inquiries as to if the actual wheel is made out of Carbon and the answer is NO. There is only one company to attempt such a feat and it failed. The company was DYMAG that made Carbon Spokes, Barrels etc but it was a failed attempt.

That being said this is ACTUAL CARBON FIBER being applied to the wheels, not a sticker or some junk. Its a PAIN IN THE REAR.

We will take all your comments into account for our next production of a set if we ever get the chance but rest assured this set is a show stopper.

We are arranging a FULL PHOTOSHOOT with WOO and look forward to having pictures in the next month or so.

Thanks so much for all your help and we are still making tweaks to Woo's setup to have them absolutely perfect and when its done I'm sure he will be thrilled to drive that Z in the Spring/Summer

Thanks again for the forum Support, this has been our home for a number of years and value some of the friendships we have developed over the years

AND YES THIS IS BALLING. LIST ON THIS COMPLETE SETUP IS OVER $20,000
