Had an unfortunate incident this morning. Went to take the Escort out of the vette for use in my other car. The mirror popped off the windshield. I'm still in disbelief. Any suggestions of how this re-attaches?

it twists on. Angle the mirror to the left, put the base on the metal piece and twist to the right. It goes on easy so if youre having trouble take off and try again, dont force it.

Hopefully the pins in the base that hold it on did not bend since you sort of ripped it off the windshield. I ran into the same problem when I tried installing my blendmount. After I put mirror back on it would shake when I had the blendmount attached. Ended up not using it.

You got lucky if you have no vibration after re install! Glad it worked out.
