Default Does my 2011 Grand Sport have NPP?

I pulled the exhaust module fuse out but there was no difference in the sound. I figured that meant that I must not have baffles that open/close, but I thought I would check on here to see if there is something else I was supposed to do that I missed.

Thanks

If you see butterfly valves in your exhaust outlets, then yes.
Sticking?

Did you walk around to the back and look? You will see the valves.

If your car has these valves and the actuator on the mufflers ... you have the NPP:

See how the valve is wide open when the engine is not running (the valves are on the 2 inside pipes).

Thanks for the explanations and pics. I just took a look and I don't have the baffles, so no NPP for me. I wonder why they still have an exhaust module fuse with that being the case? Oh well. Thanks again!

Time to spend some money on an awesome sounding aftermarket exhaust system.

And if I remember correctly, there is a $1,195 charge for the NPP on all GS Models...

Ouch, I think I would rather go aftermarket with the price of stock being that much.

The last time I checked on the Aftermarket Exhaust that I have used in the past, I think the price was like $1,600. All of a sudden they were charging $400 more for Automatics than Manuals. Thats why I went with the NPP...

That's a great deal compared to installing the comparable B&B Fusions

The "Corvette Tax" has gone stupid on aftermarket exhausts the past few years.

I agree to some extent. I wish there was a way to turn off NPP so it doesn't surprise me going up the highway ramp at half throttle. I do like to uncork when it's appropriate but I want to control it.
