Awesome pic! If people want to trash CB, are they trashing the mid year Corvettes with similar colors too?

Carlisle blue "rare and beautiful"
The rarity of the color in C6's increase their value! All you have to do is look what BLACK, SILVER, AND RED vettes resell for vs the ATOMIC ORANGE, CARLISLE BLUE, AND MIDNIGHT RACE BLUE vettes. Simply supply/demand economics. Love my new "CB BABY"!

OP - if you like the color, ignore those that may think or say anything about your choice & buy one ... when I told people I was I was going to buy a DSOM, they had all kinds of negative comments .... in addition to turning out to be a relatively rare color (only offered on '05s & 06s and only a relatively small number where ordered) & a color I really like, I get great comments on the color all the time.

If you don't like this color, maybe you're color blind (?).
Just my opinion of course, but I really love the color. I bought a LeMans Blue Coupe new in 2005 and loved that car for 10 years, I actually still miss it, but I traded it for my 2012 (of course) Grand Sport Coupe. I am not sorry! Carlisle Blue is an awesome color, best in sunlight, the metallic makes this car glow. Lance Millers wife, Michelle, picked my car for a Celebrities Choice Award at the 2015 Corvettes at Carlisle show. It was a great honor to be picked out of 5000 (+/-) Corvettes and it was a weekend I'll never forget. This one's a keeper!

Quite frankly, I wouldn't. Given that Corvette, I'd immediately try to seek out the same car in silver so as to trade !!
To each, their own !!!!!!!

Bringing this back up because I have a relevant story.
Just sold my 1968 International Blue vette after 18 years of ownership.
Was looking to buy a C6, so wife and I go to Carlisle to do some research.
She falls in love with Carlisle Blue, we sit down and talk to some owners.
She loves the color, I like it, love the exlcusivity, love the lifetime free pass
to Corvettes at Carlisle! , Don't love the difficulty of finding one or the idea of paying up for a rare color.
So back at the hotel room I do some internet searching, and a reasonably priced "Carlisle Blue" 2012 pops up at a (TOYOTA!!!) dealer near Philly!!
I call the dealer, discuss, and we set out on a 2 hour drive to the dealer.
We get there..... and ummm... this doesn't look like Carlisle Blue!
But we buy it anyway!!! I actually prefer the color - Supersonic Blue. It is a 3LT coupe, and it is loaded with extra cost options.
We get home, and next day my sister in law pulls up in her baby blue Cruze. I ask her, what year is it... 2012. What is that color? "Ice blue metallic"
So I look it up, and sure enough, it is GLF, the exact same color as Carlisle Blue.
Just as well we didn't get a vette the same color as my SIL's Cruze!!!
