If posting pix wasnt such a pain in the *** here I would show off my 07' Road King Custom, real close to Carlisle Blue, I get compliments every time I ride it. People think its custom paint since I took the tank badges off. Reminds me of late sixties muscle cars. I almost bought an 11 GS from Kerbecks but the salesman head was up his azzz, Would have been bad *** parked next to Roadking.

Most folks I talk to say they didn't like it until they see it in person.

Its is definitely not a very popular color. I have seen a few in person and have to say it isn't a bad as most of you think. It is IMO, an acquired taste.

So I am getting ready to sell my 2012 Carlisle Blue Coupe (I just bought a C7). Any ideas as to what the resale market might be on these cars?

I personally don't think you'll see that much more unless you find someone who is just in love with the color. I've had a couple folks just fall all over the color. When they hear its a limited color they all ask if it will be more valuable. I just respond "maybe at Barrett Jackson in fifty years".

I waited too long to order my Corvette. I wanted Carlisle Blue but when the '13s came along - not there. Only a 1 year color.

I've only seen one in person so far and it was driving away from me so I didn't get a good glimpse.

Can I come over and drool over yours?

(went with Supersonic Blue instead)

Mike

Hey Mike, if you can get up to Camden, SC before I sell her, you would be welcome (might even get yourself a beer out of the garage fridge)

As it has been said, any color Corvette is OK, BUT...I don't care what some of you guys say...Carlisle Blue is freakin' beautiful. I am currently looking to possibly buy a Carlisle Blue GS, and I bet any one of you guys will be extremely jealous when I'm done with it.

For those of you that have one...enjoy...

I've only seen one in person, and I thought it was beautiful. The man driving it looked pretty darn good, too!

So, there!

I haven't seen a bad looking Corvette yet, no matter what color. I also like CB and would have one in a second. No masculinity issues either.

Have a CB '12 GS...nothing but flattery from everyone who sees it.

Go ahead and buy it, you will not regret it.
