I have a 2012 Velocity Yellow Coupe with Competition Gray wheels and love them. I think this wheel sets off most colors and is different from the pack of chrome wheeled Corvettes.

In my opinion Comp Gray wheels look great on Cyber Gray Vettes.

No, it's actually "Spider" wheels as per Chevrolet.com
"The Corvette Z06 10-spoke spider aluminum wheel in available Competition Gray".

Click either of the 2 thumbnail photos of the "spider wheels" on the 2nd line (center line) of photos (2nd and 3rd photo from the right side)

i was never a comp gray or black wheel kinda person. i love chrome wheels but my GS is cyber gray with comp gray wheel and it has grown on me and I think it looks great. I will say though if you dont keep the tires shiny black the wheels lose the look and it makes the car all blend together which i dont like.

Butt.....another thing to consider is, what kind of wheels???
A good consideration might be ZR1 wheels.
I got Comp Grays for the ZR1, and I've been running the chrome ZR1 wheels on the Z06 on the track recently - and the Michelin PS2 ZP tires do a very good job on the street and the track!!
So far it looks like the ZR1 Michelins are going to last a lot longer than the Goodyears. I've got 20,000 miles on the ZR1 - half with the chromes, and half with the Comp Grays. At 10,000 miles the Michelins still look almost new. At that mileage the Goodyears were about shot.
The 19"/20" ZR1 wheels will bolt right on to a Z06 or GS, and I think they look great:
Even though the ZR1 wheels are larger, the tires are lower profile and the diameters of the tires are virtually identical to your GS tires - so there won't be any difference in speedometer readings at all.
So....if you like the ZR1 wheels, they'll bolt right on to your GS.
