The myriad of Corvette spoilers can be a bit confusing. Since 2005 the regular body Corvette Coupe and Corvette Convertible comes with a small, black 3rd brake light spoiler.
When the Z06 came out in 2006, the black 3rd brake light spoiler was still used but was raised higher to help provide some downward thrust to help keep the rear wheels on the ground.
When the Corvette ZR1 came out in 2009, it came with a color-matched full with spoiler that was higher on the outside edges and was a little lower in the middle and curved a little on the ends.

Now the qustion is ... When this happens, do you think the ZR1 spoiler will be available in all the painted colors direct from dealership parts?
Right now, you can order a ZR1 spoiler direct from GM, but it comes unpainted.

I'm waiting on an official answer on that but my guess is no. Since this will be a factory installed option it would have to be ordered as a replacement part. Replacement parts come unpainted like a roof panel, fender, etc.

Bought time!!!
Wish it was available when I got my car... I ended up buying and installing myself a "duplicate" from vendor here.. While its nice it's not perfect...

Great news for those ordering 2012's in the near future. We installed a ZR1 spoiler on our 2011 Grand Sport and it greatly improved the look of the car in our humble opinion.

I tried searching, but maybe wasn't wording my search correctly.
Anyone know if studs are in the same position? ie, can I just remove the full width and bolt on the ZR1 spoiler? Or does it require new holes?
Thanks
