Default Who's going to buy a 2013?

I’ve replaced all my vehicles in ’11 & ’12, so I won’t need a ’13 model.

Who wants to own a “13”?

Maybe GM should just skip 13 like they do in the hotel business.

The C7 will be a 2014 model.

2013 "should be" the last C6.

I doubt I'll be buying a 2013. Of course, that might depend on what the C7 turns out to be.

I respect your opinion but I disagree. My 2005 has been a great car in all respects. Had I shared your view I would have missed an entire year of enjoyment. I'm not one to buy a new model simply to have the latest-greatest but if the time is right to buy a new car I wouldn't be deterred by a new model year. In reading the forum it's pretty obvious problems aren't limited to new model year cars. With respect to the 2005, I did a poll some years ago. The vast majority of 2005 owners (90%+) felt their 2005 was reliable and they were quite satisfied with the car. I know many share your 'never buy a first year model' viewpoint but I don't buy into it.

I think this is the answer. If the C7 changes too much into a car us older Corvette lovers don't recognize, there will be a rush to get a 2013, if in fact that is the last year for the C6.

I will have a C6 for many, many years to come. Unless the C7 goes to AWD, which I dont think is going to happen, I have no intention of leaving the C6 platform.

It will be a turbocharged four cylinder with neon interior lighting. GM wants the car to appeal to a younger crowd, right?

What if no C7 V8? I think the jury is out for now. The 2013 may be a big seller if the C7 is butt ugly or under powered.

It is two thousand thirteen, not year thirteen. They don't skip floor 113.
