I regularly drive past CHP cruisers at 75 - 80 MPH in my (stock) Civic without so much as a twitch from them. Yet I drove past a cop at exactly 65 MPH in my C6 and got a warning to "keep it under the speed limit."
This is why my "Invisible Civic" is my daily driver. I'm getting tired of traffic school.

Never got stopped with my first 3 Vettes (all C3s).
Got stopped 1 time each with my 98 Vert, 05 Vert and a couple years ago with my 07 Z06. Yes I was going too fast, no I never got a ticket. Also got a few stops with my DD over the course of years
Did get a couple minor level chew outs, and was ALWAYS treated with professional level courtesy by the officers.
As a person that did a lot of street racing in the 60s I had many encounters with the police. Still to this day kind of a lead foot, but only in safe non congested areas.
You treat them OK and things go fairly good most times.
As I was a CCWP instructor I live up to what I taught even if I do not have a weapon with me. Hands on steering wheel, windows down, inside lights on at night. Talk to the officer decently, I never use SIR, (Not that a officer does not deserve it,) as its way overused
I call them officer, trooper, Sheriff & by rank if they have it. I never move my hands from the wheel till I notify them I’m moving them.
FWIW I drove CDL for a few years and had many encounters with DOT and road cops. You treat them OK they will treat you OK.

None in the Z51. One at age 19 coming over the Throggs Neck Bridge in NY -- 65 to 40 zone change -- while visiting my girfriend in college. Married her so worth the trip and ticket.
One in a military vehicle for doing 20 in a 15. They are serious on military posts.

I've had one speeding ticket in like 25 years...naturally in the Corvette. About 5 years ago my wife and I were driving home around 10:30PM on a Saturday night. It was a semi-rural road with a 45/day 40/night speed limit. I was doing 53 mph. I generally drive this road faster in my truck....virtually everyone does. No excuses though. I was nailed with radar by a rookie cop looking for drunk drivers. It was literally his 2nd day on the job by himself. Afterwards, my detective friend asked which cop got me and when I told him he laughed. He said no other cop he knew would have cited me for doing 53 mph on that road....except this new rookie "with nothing better to do." Just my luck. Oh well, I took the "educational" diversion course and the ticket went away. Most importantly, the government still got their money.

My wife and I have each had one within the past year in one of the Corvettes. We each took a defensive driving class to keep them off our records.
