In regards to the statement that chrome is dead, I seriously doubt it. Lets just wait and see how well these black wheels actually do. I think chrome will be here for a long long time...

AMEN!!! Chrome will never die... may go through up and downs but chrome wheels are just like blue jeans!!! No matter what new color of jeans comes out, blue will ALWAYS be offered too.
I would not buy a Vette if all you could get were black wheels, but that's just my 2 cents!! I do, however, respect those who like black wheels and have them on their cars. Choice is what makes the world keep spinning.

I have not usually been a white car fan but i must say that white zr1 and the inferno orange below it do float my boat. Many of the vettes in silver, gray, black, white to me are boring colors, the vettes look nice but the color is boring to me. Give me reds, yellows, blues and i'd love to see a green again.
And i enjoy the specialty models such as the centenials, GT1's especially and the CSC's. I like something a bit different then the run of the mill vettes.
