Default Fuel drinking pig!

Lets hear what you are getting? My car gets in the 10 mpg range in town and mid teens on the hwy driving nice. If I drive bad it will INHALE the gas. Dont get me wrong I dont care but I hear all these guys claiming upper 20s must be stock cars.

my '09 A6 coupe got 15 mpg around town and 28--30 mpg on a long road trip (75 mph w/CC on)...

the ZR1 gets about 14 mpg around town and 22 mpg on the highway

(both cars stock, both NPP, except M2W in the ZR1)

(running top tier 93 octane in both)

(and it goes w/o saying that agressive driving will cause the mpgs to deteriorate)

According to the MPG meter in my '07, I regularly get 18-20 mpg or more in the city. The last trip I took in it to Oklahoma City from Austin, I got 31.6 mpg again, according to the MPG meter in the car. Not bragging on the mileage but my car is stock except for Corsa Sports with x-pipe, and Airaid intake.

'07 A6 71K miles. On recent trip from Amarillo to Henrietta I averaged 33.1. From Henrietta to Commerce (Texas) the average was 32.5.

In nearly 600,000 miles with Corvettes, over the past 21+ years, the single lowest mileage for a tank was 17.1 mpg. That's driving in town - which little of my driving is. As a rule I average - on the road - 28 - 32.

I don't believe anything the Lie-O-Meter says in regards to fuel consumption. I can nail the gas and make mine say "OH SHEET"

2005 LS2, only mod is BB Bullet exhaust-- over 30 mpg on cruise on the highway, around town I don't know, but its better than my FX45 and even better than my old 350Z. Can't complain at all.

Mine has some minor engine mods - CAI, ported TB and intake manifolds and that's about in that department but I do have NPP exhaust too.

You must use the gas pedal like an on/off switch. I've been told I drive like a maniac and I still get a lot better mileage then that.

Your car is modded so hard to evaluate. I have a maximum result of 35 under controlled highway use, 27+ in normal highway/town trips, 18+ since owning the car, and 11ish extended stop and go town driving. YMMV.
