Default My car tried to kill me this week

It's was 50 degrees and the mix of cold tires, road and that cold air going right up his Snout, the rear of the car was in a race with the front of the car and it came close to winning ! needless to say I was wide awake for the rest of the drive.

You did not mention what tires your riding on?

I did that a few weeks ago but the pavement was hot. I was turning the corner and I guess I gave it too much right pedal because the back end came around much faster than the front was turning. It too woke me up....

Tires make alot of difference. I had just mounted new 360's with Invo's a few days prior to this.

Glad you were able to get things back under control without damage to you or the car.

Definitely a wake up call as fall approaches and air and road temps drop.

With a car that you can break the tires loose at 70 mph at 90 degrees F there's always one rule to remember: Wheels straight when applying power - regardless of make of tire or temp.

The car probably saved you from a big accident by taking over. I drove at around 50 degrees last night and everything was fine.

Never had a BIT of traction issues since I dumped the crappy OEM F1 Supercar GYs and replaced 'em with General Exclaim UHPs.

And I've driven them in below freezing temps, torrential downpours (but no snow).

And, of course.. "A man's gotta know his limitations"....
