Just Brought Home A Grand Sport!
Thanks everyone for getting me excited about Corvettes. Yesterday, I purchased a 2010 Grand Sport with only 1,100 dealer miles. It's black with two-tone black/grey interior, 3LT with Heritage Package. Dang, am I ever looking forward to this weekend. By the way, any GS owners near Long Beach, California?

Black Vette = beautiful Vette! I wash mine about once a month. It takes a whopping 2 minutes to dust it off in the morning.
Now its time to DSV it

i have two black cars. not the vette but still.
ignore the haters. become an **** fek like me and detail them weekly. it's only 5 hours per car.

Mine is black too. Don't sweat it. I did a machine polish and Zaino in about 2.5 hours. When the black is clean and swirl free, hands down the best color choice. Once you go black....you get a random orbital polisher.

You are so right. My garage is about 100 feet from my house. I can't tell you how many times I've walked back there to look at my new Corvette.
Regarding those who have made comments on "black" paint: I know what I'm getting into, as this is my third black sports car. I just bought a new California Duster!
