Meguirs butterwax. Good stuff, can do the whole car in 20 minutes. I dont think ive washed my car 5 times in 3 years. Only when i take a long trip, which obviously doesn't happen to often.

In the amount of time you spent posting on here, you could have already waxed the car and still had enough time to start a thread about how much better the car looks waxed.

I can't believe there are actually so many wax/no wax, which brand, etc. type of threads.

Consider a Wipe On Walk Away paint sealant .... takes literally 5 minutes to apply. Optiseal is about the easiest and glossy too.

Looks great! My favorite color I did buy a bottle of Turtle Wax Ice Spray wax. Did the whole car after my wash in about 15 minutes. Wally World $8.97 if you want to give it a shot, you can even use it on glass. I wanted something to use in between full buff and wax sessions but was pleasantly surprised.

Kudos to you guys, and gals that do wax. I just never can find the time. No problems washing though. I've always been satisfied with a good bath.
5,000 wax free miles on my '11 GS. I'm still in love!
No reason to drive the car wax free. You can pay most small detail shops about $99 for a hand wash & wax. I know you said your other car went 10 years without waxing.. but I'm also sure your other car isnt a $50k vette. I guess I dont understand the logic behind purchasing a $50k.. and then bragging about not waxing it. Especially when someone else can do all the work for less than a $100 bucks.

Even if that was too much.. wiping your car down with a spray on like Mequires Ultimate Quick Wax (or Quick detailer) takes about 10 mins. And both products are available from Target or Walmart for less than $10 bucks. Anything is better than nothing.
