Car looks great, hope the clear holds up with no protection. Kudos for eschewing the labor of waxing!
I did my body with Zaino and glass with Rejex, just last night. This is the first time I've used Rejex on anything and it was MUCH easier than following the Zaino manifesto. The results are very similar.

Wow, I thought this would be a flame session. Lol. I noticed what you are saying on my Eclipse Spyder that I had for about six years before I bought my first Vette. Never waxed it and it still beaded. It did need a good clay bar job, but still looked amazingly good for the little mainenance it received. Clear coats are better than people give them credit for these days.

Wax free that is. Never been a fan of all the extra work.
Kudos to you guys, and gals that do wax. I just never can find the time. No problems washing though. I've always been satisfied with a good bath.
5,000 wax free miles on my '11 GS. I'm still in love!

Certain colors like Red don't fade and get chalky from the Sun like they used to years ago.
As for the Flame Session, it's still early

Can you get to the end of your driveway in Zimmerman without having the car get covered in bugs?
I washed mine, pulled it into the garage and it was covered. Damn swampland.

My motorcycles are loaded with them.
You should head down to the show tomorrow. Lots of great guys. Nice Corvettes. Real laid back show.

You won't notice how good your car can look until you park next to someone that properly details a car.
Side by side you will see that your car will not look as good as you may think it does.
But it is always easier to just do nothing and just not care what it looks like.It won't look bad if you don't properly detail it,but it will just look much better if you do.

I have found that a coat of wax/sealant makes it much easier to remove bird crap, bugs, etc. I have auctually had previous cars that had the paint etched from bird crap.
