Nice looking car, I wouldn't worry about the ZR1 badges as they are only held on tape. Buy it & take the badges off.

While it looks like a beautifully done makeover and I'm sure it's got the horses to back it up, if you can get fifty cents back on the dollar for performance mods I personally think you are doing very well. Using that logic and pricing the car at the high end of my retail range it would be worth $39,350.00 to me.

Price is way too high. At the end of the day, it is still a 2006. The used car value on that car should be around 27-30 in my opinion for a pristine retail used car value. The wheels and widebody kit would have cost around $6,500.00, probably another $3,000 for painting (at the high end). The supercharger would have been $7,000 and the hood another $1,000.00. and the exhaust ~$1,200.00. The owner seems to think that he will recoup 100% of retail on these items installed. The removable roof panel came free with the car.

Except maybe it should not be more that 30-35K max.

I agree with everyone else. He'll never find a buyer.
And that car's in serious need of a front splitter

I agree you all have valid points, however I think you might have missed the fact that Im in Canada where everything costs alot more
A new GS is 75K plus and a new Z06 is 85K plus..with that being said..I think if I can get the car for 45k i will be happy.
The main reason for my post was to find out if anyone knew this car,its an original US car...has some major mods so I figured someone in the Corvette Forum might have owned it.
I will keep you guys posted tomorrow

Look at those massive rear brakes on that monster!!
It needs the ZR1 badges OFF it and it needs a ZR1 front splitter ON it.
Price is still too high, even for a Canadian car, I think.

Must say, a lot of people here are posting about the price being waay high, although they are correct about the price being high, it is not as high as they think. The OP is in Canada, the Canadian prices are a lot higher here, so I think the US guys numbers are out of range a wee bit.

Rear brakes are definitely sad. At least it would be easy to clean the wheels.
I know things are more expensive in Canada but $50k is a little out there. In the states it would be somewhere in the $20-30k range. Does it cost $20k to import a used car into Canada? (I'm asking that as a question as I don't know.)
