It has the z06 brakes and tires and basic body design with diff front fender vents. Tires will last longer if you do a basic alignment of setting 0 toe in front and 0 camber rears need 1/2 degree neg camber 0 toe. The 6 speed coupe gets hand assy engine and dry sump 10 1/2 quarts of oil.

i had zero toe set in the old mustang and that car required constant attention driving down the road. Unless I see really bad tire wear, I'm keeping the stock settings for now.

I kinda agree with you except I have learned a lot about to look for with my new Grand Sport. The fact that so few things are being griped about is good.

What I hate about mine... I am still waiting for it to be delivered!

This car is a DD, with my wife going to tennis, grocery store, etc. NO track time and they have now worn the second set down to the BALD stage, after 5.5K. Wear pattern is fine, the car has had an alignment, etc. PITA, POC tires!! I am going to put a set a Michelins on next week, as I don't even want to fight with the dealer/GY over these tires.

What's to hate? Most of the stuff posted is common among all corvettes especially one with z51 options and tire wear.

Brake dust - fixed.

Nav - should have been updated throughout the model years.

Stereo - My '96 LT4 C4 Bose premium stereo was far better.

Getting used to it. I just traded in a 94 ZR-1 for my GS. The Z was old school, raw, in your face horse power. The GS is very refind compared to the Z.....just as fast but in a more comfortable enviorment.....

I traded my '08 coupe w/z51, just last Saturday on a GS Centennial! awesome car but just getting used to the tires. On a local interstate the tires were so loud I thought I had a hole in the floor! it got better down the road but I didn't expect that.

I had Conti's on my '08 and these are so different. They do corner better than anything else I've driven. I work for Conti and I'm a little disappointed we don't make a tire for this car.

This is my third Corvette and I think the best of all!
