Default Update on my Michelin A/S Run Flats

So, I thought I'd just post a quick comment on what I think of the new treads I just put on the coupe. I love these tires. I have about 1K miles on them now. They are SO quiet compared to the GYs. I've done some spirited driving with them and they stick fine (of course in our heat this summer any rubber is sticking to the pavement). I think the ride is much more comfortable as well. Now let's see how long they last. I'm hopeful!

Thanx for that post! I'm ready for new shoes now (the factory GY's have plenty of tread left but the noise is beginning to drown out the radidio) and I've been trying to decide between the F/S wide ovals vs the Michelin A/S....leaning toward the Michelin despite the slightly higher cost

How long they last is probably the best part. You'll get 40k easily out of them as they are rated for 50k. I have a friend who got almost 60k outta his.

I have them on my car, because for what I realistically do with the car they work best. Cold temps, rain, snow, quiet ride, great milage.. they just work well. Only reason I'd change them out for something else is when I start to hit the racetrack.. and even then I think I'd mount the track rubber to a 2nd set of wheels, before taking my AS+ off my factory chrome wheels.

I've had Michelin A/S RF's for 5 months & 5k miles. Very pleased!

MUCH better than the stock GY supercar tires for my street use (I never track my C6).

I just had them installed two weeks ago. Tires, mounting, road force balance and 4 wheel alignment $1600. Love them. They are soooo quiet and much softer than the supercars. Since I drive my car year round in PA they just made complete sense.

I hate spending money replacing tires before I need them but can't wait until the day the GY's wear out so I can put the Michelin's on my car! I just replaced the factory Bridgestones on my truck with AT2's and it rides like a totally different vehicle.

I have 20,000 on them, I think they will be a 50,000 mile tire, or close.

I'm getting a set of those today at d.t.! Really debated over the F.S and the mich, but I think for how and where I use my car, the Mich will be best for me.

Default 1,000 miles and counting

I am pleased with the all aspects of the tire.

That's about what I paid. I think $1530 or something with the alignment.

While I doubt I'll go runflat-I am seriously looking at Michelins. I HATE the Goodyear POS tires. Just too cheap to change until they wear out.

Just put them on myself, and what a difference. these tires are awsome! and hopefully they will last longer than the goodyears. Ive got about 1K on mine, and they really changed the way the car felt.

Got mine in June and couldn't be happier. They are so smooth and quiet compared to the Goodyears.

I think I am at about 10k on mine. I agree, I think they will get at least 40k. And the ride is great and the noise is down. I am on the freeway a lot so this is helpful. They are doing well in this Dallas heat which is important since it is my daily driver.
