Default Just completed Spring Mountain ZR1 Course

Today I completed the three day ZR1 driving school at Spring Mountain.
The training was exceptional, they really brought my driving skills up several notches. The instructors were great, they were brave (for riding along), knowledgable, and very patient. Because of them I now have a much better understanding of the capabilities of the Corvette. I can't wait to try out my new skills in autocross and at the track!!!

My wife went with me (although she wasn't actually in the class). They let her sit in on the classroom training and really made her feel welcome. The instructors would even let her ride along with them during some of the exercises - I think she actually knows the course better than I do She really enjoyed herself while we were there, which made the experience even better.

Aside from the quality of the training the whole facility is simply amazing. The condos and clubhouse are great, and the whole staff really does a great job taking care of you.

It was also neat to spend a few days with other car enthusiasts from all over the country. I made several new friends during the week.

This was an incredible experience. I'd reccomend Spring Mountain to everyone and can't wait to go back for the level 2 training.

Fun to learn how to properly drive these cars, ain't it?!?! I had my ZR1 class at Bondurant. What a blast! Both are terrific schools.

Good story. Nice to have the wife understand the car as well!

Sure is great. I was there the week off July 25th. You are correct about the instructors. It was a real eye opening experience for sure.

Spring Mountain 3 Day is about the best "mod" ever for the Corvette!

First Class all the way.

Great facility, great course and Rick Malone and his staff are the best. Anybody that buys a new Vette should take advantage of the class and learn how to get the most out of their car, no matter how they intend to drive it.

You don't get it. You'll have to pay. I would recommend it highly, if you can swing it.

You do not have one coming for a Z06.
