This gent makes a good point. Kind of like the Mrs. Could go out and get a new one, but geez that would be expensive (trade difference is a killer on that one). And there's nothing wrong with the one I got.

The '05 is definitely better. Because it has no issues, you can buy a used one for $20K.. and then put $100K into flying 1st class around the world would definitely faster than trying to drive a brand new '12 $120K ZR1 around the world.
Just make sure you leave the '05 in reverse when you park it at the airport.
