Default battery clamp removal

I need to clean my battery posts .If I remove the positive clamp will I affect internal settings,seat memory,radio presets etc?

Pull the Negative first then the Positive, clean all then hook up Positive first, then Negative.

To Re-index the windows follow owners manual.
You shouldn't lose anything except memory settings, i have done this several times.

A simple yes to your question. You will lose most all functions that are stored in memory.

They will all be relearned quickly except the windows will need to be re-indexed.

Default battery cable

Use a secondary battery with cables to jump the gap while you remove the main battery. Lose nothing.

I just replaced my son's battery yesterday in his 08 coupe. Re-indexing windows is all you should have to do.
