Should have swapped an 08 radio when you did the bezel.

I just did this same swap on my 2006 a few weeks ago as I scored the same deal you did on the console. I love the look of it.

Do any of you that have done this know the GM part number for the two, 1" diameter plastic plugs that cover up the two rearmost screws that hold the console on? These are the screws that are actually hidden within the center console, but want to finish off the upgraded look.

***Update*** Called the dealer and got the part number. The plug part number is 10348895. Hold on to your hats as those little plugs list for $8.11 a piece!

Looks great! I did mine about 2 years ago. I have the F55 suspension and it required some modification being that I was going from the 05-07 toggle switch to the round switch. Thanks to Ray Kawal it was a very easy install and conversion. I also upgraded my navigation to a Kenwood since I had the dash open at the time. Congrats !

You can do a search of my name and see a post I already did about the adapter
It wont work on a C6 except for a 2005 A4.
I bought one for my 07 C6 and it won't work. I have emailed the sellers and the MFR and its like they don't care. They haven't changed their ad stating it will fit up to 2007.
I bought a A6 shifter assembly that had an A4 shifter arm. It will work but the adapter adds some height (I dont want to be driving around in my Corvette with a Big Daddy Roth shifter)
So I took a nice A6 **** converted it to a Man **** for my Line Lock and sent it off to DSV to be covered in leather. PM me if you want a pic.

Guys 10348895 is not the correct part number for the radio bezel screw covers. Does anybody know what the correct part number is?

Well after looking at the OPs photo, our radio/stereo system has got to be the worse, butt-ugly stereo on the planet? What is up with that design - or lack thereof?

Oh im sure you did. I tried to order right after I posted, and it even let me put the item in my cart. I could never checkout though. After repeated attempts and calls answered by voicemail I found out the sold out. Was really bummed out that I missed on the $299 OEM deal. Until I went to Carlisle 2 weeks ago and scored one open box from Gene Culley for $445. Sucked at first to have paid more, but Gene's technician installed it for free, even showed me how to uninstall/install it (for when I install my own aftermarket indash Nav radio) and also gave me great prices on a few other OEM parts. The great customer service from Gene more than made up the price difference. For those that missed out on the deal contact Gene to get a new one under $480 bucks.

In the end it worked out well and the upgraded look is worth every single dollar. Not only does the plain grey console on the 05-07 look boring, but mine had a couple scratches on the console that kept the car from looking "showroom new" on the inside. With the '08 console installed my baby looks absolutely brand new. Hard to believe she is already 4 years old.

I highly recommend this upgrade to all '05-'07 owners!!
