I carry a 9mm in a canvas holster, so we to Wally world bought some industrial strength Velcro.
Stuck behind the passenger seat, angled just right to reach behind it and pull it out of the holster.
I was stopped years ago here in Texas, had a pistol laying in the passenger seat. The leo asked if it was loaded. I told him if it wasn’t, I could have saved a lot of money, and bought a big rock.
Back in the 1960’s and 70’s everyone in the west Texas oilfields carried a gun, and a bottle of whiskey under the seat. Not sure why, never saw anyone use the gun, but the bottle was used a lot.

Actually, they don't kick that much. My wife has a Kimber Ulta Carry in .45 ACP and my carry gun is a Colt Defender in .45 ACP. It's very easy to shoot accurately and follow up shots are also easy.

The sad thing in North Carolina is that you can not defend personal property. I am finishing up my paper work to turn into the sheriff now. They are now trying to pass a law that your home is your imminent domain. I carry mine open all the time but when going to SC have to lock it in the trunk. It has been hard for me not to have one on me all the time. When in Iraq sleeping with it, eating with it, going to the bathroom with it, showering with it, driving with it out the window. I still have my body armor from there and my Kevlar. Wish I could have my m203 with me. People say guns kill I say people kill, oh by the way if my spelling is bad my keyboard did it not me.

My Keltec .380 fits perfect in my "wallet holster" which fits perfect in my pocket. I can wear basketball shorts and fits fine, you can't tell I have a pistol on me.

Crazy law. If you own 1 or more handguns already, what is accomplished by the 15 day wait? If you're "mad" at someone, an older gun is just as effective as a new one.
I carry my G36 on my hip with a leather Bianchi holster. Doesn't seem to rub on the seat.

I have thought about getting my conceal carry license. But I figure I better not.. with some of the drivers around here my estrogen says it wouldn't be a good idea for me to have a gun handy. . Tonya
