Default Those of you with F55 suspension.......

How much time do you spend in Sport or Tour mode. I spend probably 95% of the time in Tour. The only time I use Sport is on twisty roads or on hard acceleration from a stop to minimize wheel hop. Just wondering how others use this feature.

I'm the opposite, I keep mine in sport mode unless I'm on a long drive and my wife is with me.

Same here; 95% of the time in the Tour mode in order to keep all four wheels planted all the time, plus to enhance Active Handling contribution.

Having this option since 2000 I'd say 50-50. I like the more responsive feel I get on the curvey roads I get to drive as I drive to work. Really depends on the road I'm on thou and living in MN that's hard as roads up here are not that great. Fortunately, the roads I drive on are fairly smooth.

One of my most enjoyable drives is up 94 west to my lake place in Alexandria for sure.

90 percent in sport mode. Switch to tour only to eliminate expansion joint bounce on concrete roadways.

I switch to tour mode when driving on bad roads or those stretches with expansion strips that are irritating. Makes a big difference. That is the real test of how the F55 works.

You probably have smooth roads! Try this, take it up to about 50 mph and do some little side to side zigzags . . . short and quick, switch modes and do it all over again. Bet you'll notice a difference then.

Stupid question from a newbie. Is the F55 Suspension the same as the Z51 suspension? If not what are the diff's?

Tour mode unless I'm on a track day. Great handling with this option as I love how the car stays planted.

Sport mode is a little much with these MN roads.

Sport mode when on the few twisty roads in the Houston area that is offered. All other occasions it's in Touring mode.

Tour mode most of the time, but I do flip the switch to Sport all the time (cloverleaf onramps, twisty roads, etc.).

I DD an A6 and the trans is typically on S. I paddle shift all the time, but it's typically 1st, 2nd, and then hold the plus (+) paddle and the transmission will switch back to auto for cruising. I kinda use the F55 switch the same way. I'll see an upcoming situation where I'd like to tighten up the car, and I'll reach down and turn the switch to the right. Then once back going straight, flip the switch back. It's an automatic reaction now, just like shifting, I don't always consciously think about it.

Every now and then some expansion joints do remind me that I've left it in Sport.

In my 08 I rarely used tour. I must say that on my Z16 GS I haven't found a need for anything softer in about 1500 miles.

I'd estimate that I stay in sport mode 95% of the time. As soon as the road clears up, I go out of tour mode. I like the ride in sport mode much better when you get into any higher speed turns.
