Hanging removable C6 top?
I see hangers made on EBay for hanging tops but how do you hang yours? Does anyone have any good cheap ways of storing these on a wall? Photos? Thanks in advance!

I don't have any, but several folks here have cloth or fabric bags that the top goes into before they hang the bag or put it under furniture or other household items.

I've heard some of the hanging bags have hurt the paint.
With the above I could just put something light over it but really I just use a California duster when I take it down and it's good to go.

I used 2 bicycle wall hangers from Home Depot, the rear of the top fits nicely in the slots where the bike would hang and the angle that the front is at lays on the wall real nice and IMO there is no risk of it going anywhere until you move it. Total cost was about $10.00

Here's the solution I'm using - $9 at home depot, and it's completely secure. The only contact with the roof is at the rear edge where it rests on the padded hooks.

There has been some discussion on the GM storage bag. Some owners found that the bag (specifically the section where the strap is stitched to the bag) was leaving marks in the paint when the top was stored for long periods.

Unfortunately, I didn't see any of the posts until I had already purchased one of the bags! I'm guessing that if you actually hang the top up by the straps, there's more pressure on the one area, which could create issues. I have a spare top stored under a bed in the bag right now. We'll see if there's any problems later.

I had the same question a week ago, and with the help of the forum, I found a product at Home Depot made by Crown Bolt... It's a two arm hanger.
It works great, and at $6 you could always buy two for extra precaution.
It's the same product as shown at this post: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1566785516-post5.html. I didn't find the top hangers necessary, it holds securely without anything up top.

I must be in a serious minority, for in a year of ownership, I've never removed the roof panel of my GS...it could be fixed like a Z06 for all I care...I bought a coupe because I wanted a coupe...
Actually I might remove it, but it would take one very special lady to sweet talk me into it...
...maybe..

Mine is in a box in the attic. Some really good ideas out there. Too much traffic in my garage, figured if I hung it on the wall eventually I'd hit it with something.
