Bought my first (99 Coupe) in 2000 at age 43...Trying to make up for lost time 
....Bought my most recent (07 C6Z) in Feb 2008.....Next on the list....Triple black GS convertible hopefully before the year is up...

My first was a 1967 which I bought in 1975, and in 1980 I bought my first new one (ordered it on my birthday) and I still have it. My count now spans 36.5 years and 13 vettes. Currently own four spanning model years 1980 to 2011, with a C3, C5 and two C6s. Yep, still got the fever.

Id love to have one of each generation someday, all black of course....but to be honest, the cost of the C1 & C2 would probably bust my bank, and those are the two most uncomfortable Vettes to drive

My first car was a 1956 Corvette in 1967. I've had several others since and most of the time owned at least two. They have all been fun, but the C6 is an amazing car.

I bought my first one as soon as I could aford one - 1975 - a '70 350-350 Coupe. That was 36 years ago. I'm not old enough to beat the OP

I ordered a new 1966 convertible with the hard top option, side exhaust, transistor ingition, etc. and received the car in March of 1966. It was a pretty dark blue with a white convertible top. I then put American racing wheels and large tires on it.
I currently own a 2008 Coupe.
