I get it all over the dash and it comes off without a problem with pretty much anything.

You'll also create these white blotches on your black interior surfaces from having cologne or perfume residue on your hands. Today's cologne and perfume is nothing but re-fragranced gasoline, if the truth be known. Pure VOCs, full of cancer-causing chemicals to boot.

I use the white film to identify our '07 Coupe at car shows. No trophys yet.

Sometimes it's sunscreen that rubs off from our arms, but usually the car "produces" the white stuff by itself. But the damp rag has worked well for us.

It is a reaction to your skin oils on the surface of the material. I have the same trouble with the black Dakota leather on the wifey's new BMW 535i, so it is not only on the Corvette.

Do you use lotion on your arms? If you do it lotion rubbing off it will stain it

b2b works best for me. did not have good results with the 303 - streaky results.

took me a day to figure out why my passenger door panel had white spots. Wife had sunscreen on!
