Default Smokey Mtns road trip...Pics

Wife and I just got back from Gatlinburg, Tn. The trip was 500 miles each way and the Vette was extremely comfortable and performed well. I wanted to do the Dragon while there but it rained just enough each day to keep me from going. The last day was nice but that's the day we went up to Newfound Gap and Clingsman Dome (highest point in Tenn.) Here's a few pics:

The Hitching Post at Land between the Lakes in Kentucky:
Roaring Fork Motor Trail at Gatlinburd. (saw 3 bears)

On our way up to Clingsman Dome...

Tn. / NC State line at newfound Gap...

Sweet ride! I've been wondering about wheel options for my own MS. Yours looks awesome.

I used to live near there (Knoxville) and miss the drives--these are great.

Me too! In fact we did the Skyline, Blue Ridge and the Natchez Trace in 70 degree weather! Great pictures that I recognize after my trip.
