Few questions...

  1. Model #:
  2. Cost:
  3. 110V?:
  4. Do you have to bolt it down?

I just bought the same lift too!! It is a really nice piece to have, but I did make one mistake when I purchased mine. I did not upgrade to the 4 foot long ramps. They come standard with 3 foot ramps, and now I can not drive my corvette on forward. The air dam on my grand sport would get torn off. I have to back up to get it on unless I drive up on some blocks first. To get 4 foot ramps after I own the lift now will cost $430 plus shipping. Keep this in mind if any of you plan on buying one for your corvette.

That's odd. My stock height Z06 has a 5.25" clearance to the bottom of the splitter in front of my wheels. My 4-post lift(another brand) has 4.63" thick runways(typical of most hobby 4-post lifts) and my drive on ramps are only 24" long. My splitter clears just fine. The flexible rubber air dam in front of the wheels drags ever so lightly, but not enough to hurt it. No more drag then out the driveway into the street.

My buddy's Grand Sport's splitter barely drags, but not enough to hurt it. His Grand Sport sits .75" lower then my Z06 in the front, because of the weight of his supercharger.

My air dam is only 4.75" off the ground. I don't have trouble rubbing on the approach ramps, but the air dam would run right into the cross tube that supports the runways. I haven't actually seen it for myself, but my girlfriend that was spotting me said that there was no way to clear without hitting. Backing up actually works better for me anyway so I can raise the car up and still raise my garage door.

At the very center, my splitter is also about 4.75", but just grazes the cross tube on my lift. My cross tube is about 1/8" lower then the runways, so I gain a little.

Put the same lift in about 2 months ago. Heed KKJ's advice, order the longer 4' ramps instead of the stock 3' ramps. They only come in steel and weigh a ton but the longer length will be worth the cost. I too had to order the longer ramps after I received the lift with the 3' ramps. Even with the 4' ramps I have to "build up" the run to get my lowered GS on the lift. BendPak offers aluminum ramps (ask me how I know) BUT the only are the 3' versions. So after blowing about 700.00 in ramps alone, I have a set of 3' steel & a set of 3' aluminum ones for sale. Any takers?

Oh how I'd like to have a setup like that! I would have to rebuild my rickety old garage and level the floor before even thinking about it. It will sure make working on your cars a whole lot easier!! Enjoy....

I have an Eagle 4 post with the 3 ft aluminum ramps. My C6 spoiler barely touches but some of the other cars like the NSX and the Ferrari are even lower. What I do is put a thin board under the top part of the ramp to angle it up about 1/2 inch. Then the front ends clear the cross bar easily. For the C6 I use the metal stop plates under the ramps and that is enough so that the front does not hit the bar.

I'm looking forward to working on my cars with my new lift! My first project will be installing a new exhaust system on my Z06 Carbon Edition.
